Brooklyn is 3 months

Brooklyn is already 3 months. Time is flying by. We have enjoyed every minute of it, and can't get enough of her. She is now smiling and starting to giggle. It makes my heart smile when I look down at her and she is smiling up at me. It is the best feeling. Here are some recent pictures.

Brooklyn Paige Lewis

She has finally arrived. She was born on May 5, 2010. She weighs 5lbs 11oz and is 18 inches long. She has lots of hair, and is perfect!

I went in for a doctors appointment on Wednesday, and her fluid levels were were under 5cm so they decided to keep me. They induced at 1:30pm and she was born at 8:44pm. It all happened so fast. We are so excited that she is finally here. We are so in love! So without further ado here is Miss Brooklyn!

Nothing can just be normal

I have been walking around with this pregnancy, and all I hear is "Wow you are so small." I thought maybe that was just the way my body was carrying this pregnancy. Well it turns out that Brooklyn is a small baby. I am 37 weeks and she is only 5 pounds. It turns out that she does not have enough fluid in there. They did some monitoring, and she is still active so they told me to just rest and drink lots of fluids. I have to ask the question, Why don't they just take her out? It scares me to death that something will happen to her while we are just sitting here doing nothing. I do not want to lose another baby. I cannot go through that again. I am going to be monitored twice a week until I deliver. So I guess I have to just sit around and see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

4 Weeks to go

Now we are in the home stretch. I am now seeing the doctor every week and had a doctors appointment today. I am already 1 cm dilated and she has dropped. She is going to be a small baby, between 6 to 7 lbs, but that is alright. We will also have one more ultrasound, which I was excited to hear. My doctor is thinking that he will induce on May 21st if I don't go sooner, but we will talk about that more when it gets closer. We are excited and can't wait for her to get here. We have waited for a long time to bring a baby home. We also have the nursery complete. I am making my finishing touches and I will post pictures as soon as I get everything in its place.

Brooklyn Paige

We finally decided that this little girl should have a name. Brooklyn Paige Lewis. We plan on calling her Brooke though. She is also named after her older brothers. We got Paige from Parker and Gavin.

We are also working on her nursery. It is in the process of being painted, and most of the furnisher is put together. I will be posting pictures in the next couple of weeks when it is completed.

We had an ultrasound today and tried to get 3D pictures but she would not cooperate. The tech tried rolling me over and shaking my tummy, but she would not move. They also could not confirm if she was still a girl because she had her legs up and crossed. So lets just pray she is a girl lol. But we did find some things out. She weighs exactly 4 pounds, which is amazing. She also has a little hair, but the tech said she has seen more at this stage. It is so amazing how you can see everything. Now we just have to sit back and wait. I am so excited to meet her.

Third Trimester

Today we have entered the third trimester. I am really excited to meet this little baby girl. I am enjoying every minute of this pregnancy. I love feeling her move around. It is so fascinating. Both of my showers are coming up here in March, and I am so ready to start "nesting." Chad and I have thought about naming her Brooklyn Paige, but it is not a final decision yet. We got Paige from Gavin and Parker because they will always be apart of her life. I will keep you guys updated as we go.

Feeling her move

So I am past the 22 weeks part where I lost my boys. This is the longest I have ever been pregnant. I think now my nerves can calm down a little, and try and enjoy this pregnancy.

I am also feeling her move a lot more. Last night, for the first time, we could feel her move from the outside. Chad was so happy to feel her for the first time. He never got to feel the boys move, and it was bittersweet for him.
